What are you buying? 🪙

When you treat yourself to a Chocolating® hot chocolate, what are you consuming?

1️⃣ Quality above all. Quality of ingredients and quality in the process.

Our dark chocolate is of high quality, a blend of the best terroirs from Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Indonesia.

It is UTZ certified, a label that represents sustainable agriculture offering better prospects for producers, their families and our planet, according to reasoned, equitable and eco-responsible agriculture.

It is selected to obtain a strong but smooth flavor at the same time, avoiding acidity or excessive bitterness. This allows us to offer it "plain", or to combine it with different fruits and obtain a beautiful balance, the taste of chocolate remaining very present and enhanced by a slight note of fruit.

2️⃣ a hot chocolate and not cocoa milk: 35 to 40% concentrated dark chocolate in a bottle.

With Chocolating, you're buying a hot chocolate with a high concentration of dark chocolate, 35 to 40% in each bottle. The dark chocolate blend used in this range has a cocoa content of 72%.

3️⃣ a glass bottle: a recyclable material, respectful of the product, but heavy and fragile.

We chose glass for two reasons. Glass preserves the product's flavor from the moment it's bottled until the moment it's served. It's also a clean, recyclable material.

However, it is an expensive and fragile material, involving higher logistics and transport costs than other more widespread materials.

4️⃣ Chocolating is all plant-based , we use an organic plant-based drink.

Plant-based drinks are still not widely available in France, and their manufacturing costs are often much higher than those of dairy products.

Plant-based drinks offer two major benefits: they preserve the characteristics of the dark chocolate we use and aid digestion. This way, you're drinking hot chocolate (rather than cocoa milk) with all the flavor of chocolate, a comforting and satisfying drink that's also perfectly digestible.

5️⃣ a unique smoothness on the market, the fruit of years of research and innovation for a product with no added sugars, no thickeners, no preservatives, an innovation recognized by an industrial patent .

After years of hard work in our quest to create the perfect chocolate, we developed a manufacturing process that allowed us to achieve this unique smoothness without the addition of thickeners or dairy products. This process was recognized by obtaining an industrial patent issued by the INPI.

6️⃣ a new concept, the intense chocolate espresso .

To be enjoyed in an espresso cup, our hot chocolate is enough in itself to bring you a moment of relaxation and comfort, a low-sugar appetite suppressant in the mid-morning or mid-afternoon, ideal at the end of a meal, at breakfast if you need energy during the day, or at the end of the evening with your favorite book or in front of your television.

Don't hesitate to surprise your guests by offering Chocolating in a coffee cup accompanied by a small meringue or some fruit. Have fun tasting; our range allows you to add a fun touch to your end-of-meal experiences with friends or family.

Some of our first customers are very imaginative and use it to accompany crepes, waffles, ice cream, profiteroles. Its uses are as vast as your imagination, so it's up to you.

7️⃣ an artisanal production in a workshop of an agri-food high school in Burgundy.

We produce in Burgundy, in Plombières-lès-Dijon to be precise, in the technological workshop of Agro Campus Dijon, an agri-food college. We have found the ideal partner to develop our range with the care it deserves.

We are constantly present in the production room with the local team and we lend our hands to the dough, which allows us to be as close as possible to our products. The production of Chocolating also provides an opportunity for students to do internships, being supervised by technicians who contribute to their training and guarantee the quality of the process from start to finish.
