What is Chocolating®?

CHOCOLATING® offers a range of unique hot chocolates, plain or with 100% natural flavors, combining raw origins with a world of flavors. They are made with real 72% dark chocolate, sourced from the finest terroirs, enhanced by an organic, neutral plant-based drink, to reveal all the aromas of the cocoa tree's fruits. The goal is to achieve the purest expression of dark chocolate in all its facets.

Where does Chocolating® come from?

Chocolating is the result of co-founder Hani's passion for hot chocolate and his wife Caroline's interest in nutrition and health. After 30 years of concocting it in their kitchen, and then realizing how difficult it was to find good hot chocolate outside their homes, they both decided to take it out of their lair and share it with as many people as possible, encouraged by their friends and family. And thus, the Chocolating project was born.

Is it one product? multiple products?

Chocolating® is a range of hot chocolates, reflecting the diversity of terroirs and the versatility of chocolate. Blended chocolates, single-origin raw chocolates from Latin America, Africa, or Asia, as well as combinations of chocolate with natural fruit, dried fruit, and spice flavors, will gradually enrich the range.

What type of chocolate is it made from?

It is now produced with professional dark chocolate couverture, with a 72% cocoa content. It is the result of a blend of the best terroirs from Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Indonesia. It is UTZ certified, a label that represents sustainable agriculture offering better prospects for producers, their families, and our planet, according to reasoned, fair, and eco-responsible agriculture.

How many flavors at launch?

Five: 72 (plain), Praline, Raspberry, Orange, and Passion Fruit. All five flavors are made with dark chocolate with a 72% cocoa content and the use of 100% natural flavors.

How do they present themselves?

In a glass bottle, ready to use. Nothing to add, and consume as is after heating (see Tasting Tips for more details).

Is there any preparation to do before consuming it?

No, apart from reheating.

When and how is it consumed?

At any time of the day, at breakfast, after a meal, during a morning or afternoon break, in the evening, in an espresso-type cup.

Will there be another Chocolating®?

Many other versions will be available in the near future, combining the original vintages with the natural flavors brought by fruits, dried fruits, flowers, aromatic herbs, and spices. We also count on your feedback to guide the future variations of our range.

Where is Chocolating® made?

In France, in a technology workshop near Dijon, we support the professional training of young students by involving them in the manufacturing of our products.

Does it contain milk?

All our products are dairy-free. Plant-based drinks, sourced from organic farming, are carefully selected to best bring out the rich aromas of cocoa.

What about sugar?

All our products are made without added sugar.

How is the product stored?

In a cool, dry place before opening. In the refrigerator for 5 to 10 days after opening. In case of rising temperatures, it is recommended to store them, even before opening, in a temperate cellar or, failing that, in the refrigerator.

Are there any preservatives?

The Chocolating® range contains no preservatives or thickeners, and has not undergone any UHT treatment other than hot bottling. It has been designed and tested for long-term storage at room temperature before opening.

Where can I buy it?

The products are available for sale at launch on the website www.chocolating.fr, with delivery in mainland France.
