How do I enjoy my Chocolating?

Some tips and tricks

1️⃣ Why does my Chocolating® appear light in color and set in consistency?

When you receive your bottle of Chocolating, or take it out of the refrigerator, you will notice that the chocolate has a solid appearance and a rather light brown color.

This is completely normal. It's due to the presence of cocoa butter, which can solidify due to temperature fluctuations and during storage. We use a high percentage of dark chocolate, not cocoa powder, which explains the presence of cocoa butter.

In addition, cocoa butter has many virtues: it mainly provides Omega 9, good for the cardiovascular system, and vitamin E, a natural antioxidant.

Simply place the open bottle in the microwave or bain-marie for 30 seconds for the chocolate to liquefy and at the same time regain a beautiful dark brown color, very chocolatey and shiny.


2️⃣ How do I heat up my Chocolating®?

The fastest way is to use a microwave oven. Using a double boiler is also suitable, but everyone has their own preference.

1) Preheat the open (full) bottle for 30 seconds. Recap. Shake. This operation allows the product to become more fluid after opening;

2) Pour the desired quantity into an espresso cup, the ideal container for enjoying your Chocolating;

3) Heat the cup for just a few seconds (depending on the power of your oven);

4) Enjoy!

5) Once the bottle is opened, keep it re-corked in the refrigerator for 15 days (or less if you can't resist).

3️⃣ Can I heat the bottle several times?

The bottle can serve approximately 7 cups of espresso (35ml). It can be reheated several times if consumed over a long period of time. To do this, repeat the process each time necessary, but be careful not to let the product boil.

4️⃣ Can I dilute Chocolating®?

Chocolating is designed to be enjoyed as is. If you'd like to make it more liquid, that's a matter of personal preference. A few drops can change the consistency, so use sparingly.

Chocolating is dairy-free. However, if you want to eat it Viennese style (with heavy cream or whipped cream), it certainly won't be bad.

5️⃣ Can I enjoy Chocolating® warm or at room temperature?

First of all, it is a hot chocolate, a "ready-to-drink" dark chocolate drink. It must first be heated.

It can be enjoyed warm or even cold. Some of our consumers prefer it this way, or enjoyed like a cream with a spoon straight from the refrigerator. To consume it as a liquid (or fluid), warm it slightly and enjoy it at room temperature with a teaspoon.

6️⃣ Can I use Chocolating® as a chocolate coulis or sauce?

Absolutely, Chocolating can be used as a coulis on profiteroles, ice cream, sorbets, tarts and cakes, but can also be served like a gourmet coffee, a gourmet chocolate version, accompanied by diced fresh fruit (red or yellow fruits, pineapple, banana, mango), the cup acting as a mini chocolate fondue.

You could also pair a flavor with a dessert. For example, pour a little Chocolating Raspberry over a raspberry sorbet, or a Chocolating Praline over a walnut tart.
